Thomas Eichhorn is a research associate at the Institute of Communication and Media Studies at the University of Leipzig. His research centers around the topics digital divide and online participation. Current research questions focus on differences between users and non-users of the so-called sharing economy. Besides socio-economic and motivational factors he adresses digital skills and implicit knowledge as explanatory approaches.
